Current Aquadettes Bios

Chris Wilshire

Collinsville Illinois native Chrissy learned to swim at the YMCA when she was in kindergarten. Her dad taught his kids to love the water. Her sister Karen and the Aquadettes’ coach Bunny have brought her swimming skills up to what they are today.

Chrissy continues to see the Aquadettes in her near and distant future. Chrissy also values her friendships with this elite group of senior women. Her advice for anyone in our audience: “If you’re thinking about undertaking something like swimming…never give up…it will come if you are willing to work”.
