Aquadettes 2026 Handbook

Chris Wilshire

Born in Detroit and raised in Collinsville, Ill., Chrissy learned to swim at the YMCA when she was in kindergarten. Her dad taught his kids to love the water. Her sister Karen and Aquadettes Coach Bunny have helped her bring her swimming skills up to what they are today.

Chrissy continues to see the Aquadettes in her near and distant future. She also values her friendships with this elite group of senior women. Her advice for anyone in our audience: “If you’re thinking about undertaking something like swimming…never give up…it will come if you are willing to work.”
