Current Aquadettes Bios

Nancy Baldwin

Nancy Baldwin is seventy-six years old and in her tenth year performing with the Aquadettes.

“I learned to swim as a child and earned a swimming badge with my Girl Scout troop, but artistic swimming is a whole new experience. It’s a higher level of swimming with stunts and artistic swimming routines. I love it.”

Nancy grew up in Redondo Beach, California, played flute and piccolo in her high school band, then became a second-grade teacher.

She has three daughters and two grandchildren.

“I want to thank the Aquadette veterans for teaching me how to do artistic swimming. It takes prodigious practice with patient coaches.”
