Karen Massetti

Karen began swimming at an early age while staying in Pasadena with her grandparents during summer breaks. Over time, Karen became a certified Red Cross instructor and lifeguard and has taught aqua group exercise classes for many years.

While Karen has been a Laguna Woods Village resident since 2015, she joined the team in 2024. Aquadette. Karen says, “I am proud and excited to be a member of this talented women’s team and to perform in the Aqua Follies.” The Aquadettes are thrilled to have her too, especially since she won multiple medals, most of them gold, at the Village Games in 2025 and 2026. She had so many medals around her neck that they began to affect her posture.
