Current Aquadettes Bios

Maribeth McFaul

From an early age, Maribeth has loved swimming. She has trained in diving, gymnastics, and dance and still studies ballet, Zumba and Pilates.

“Swimming with the Aquadettes combines my passions for physical fitness and dance with artistic movement in the water.”

Originally from the San Francisco Bay area, Maribeth and her husband have raised five boys, residing in Mission Viejo for forty years before moving to Laguna Woods Village in 2023. Maribeth, who works as a visual artist and art teacher, is recognized for her larger-than-life ephemeral pavement chalk drawings. Currently Maribeth’s paintings are displayed at the Laguna Woods Community Center as well as at Laguna Art-a-Fair Summer Art Festival in Laguna Canyon.
