Current Aquadettes Bios

Angela Gregory

Born in Downey, California, Angie moved with her family to Lake Forest (then known as El Toro) at the age of seven. In her backyard inground swimming pool, Angie spent countless hours swimming and experimenting with mermaid moves. One could easily recognize Angie due to her green hair, changed from blonde due to all that chlorine.

Following graduation from San Diego State University, Angela pursued a career in law. For twenty-six years, she lived in Westborough, Massachusetts practicing corporate technology and pharmaceutical law.

Angela has two grown children who still live in Massachusetts.

Since she could never understand those heavy New England accents nor was willing to further tolerate cold winters, she moved to Laguna Woods two years ago. After reading an article in The Globe about the Aquadettes, she knew that this was her group; however, she now protects her hair from becoming green with conditioner and a bathing cap.
