Chrissie Fenton

As a Manhattan little girl, Chrissie and the family went to the Jersey Shore, but she came to love swimming at her grandparents’ lake cottage.

In 1961, the family moved into a Las Vegas apartment complex…with a pool. “That was it,” Chrissy has stated.

When the family bought their own house, her parents asked Chrissie if she’d rather go to Disneyland or put in a back yard pool…and you can guess her response.

Yes…Chrissie was a mermaid long before she became an Aquadette. When her OC doctor encouraged her to exercise more, Chrissie started swimming more. There at Pool 1 she met two Aquadettes who encouraged her to try out. She made the team, then has since served her mermaid community both as its vice president and also as a choreographer in this our 2025 show.
