Born on the bayou, water play was a way of life. From swim lessons at age two, I`ve felt most at home in the water. After a debilitating injury and a simultaneous cancer diagnosis, I turned to the water to rehabilitate my body and mind. The gentle resistance and buoyancy provided a path to healing that felt both restorative and empowering. Moving to Laguna Woods two years ago, I was drawn to the vibrant community and the opportunity to continue my water journey with the Aquadettes. Auditioning was a leap of faith, and becoming an Aquadette has been a wonderful experience, allowing me to share my love of the water and connect with others.

Some might say that I`m a real water baby-and I have to agree, I`ve never been afraid to make a splash
