Chris Holtshopple
Assistant Coach
Chris spent summers at Pittsburgh’s Chapel Gate Swim Club. Soon she began teaching beginner swim lessons and worked as a lifeguard. In high school, Chris was a cheerleader and was on the swim and gymnastic teams (Go Vixens!) and even performed in a few artistic swim shows having long ago learned to nail that ballet leg.
Chris became a pharmacist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (Go Badgers!). Shortly after graduating she married, and the new couple left the Midwest for Southern California. She raised her son and two daughters in the OC and now is a Nana to three amazing grandkids.
Upon her 2023 move to Laguna Woods Village, Chris read in The Globe about artistic swim tryouts. She was both happy and honored to be asked to join the team and to be offered the assistant coach position (Go Aquadettes)!
