Judy Sterrett

Judy is thankful to be able to participate in this challenging, yet beloved sports-dance activity. She is humbled to be swimming with such a dedicated group of senior women.

Judy lived in Michigan for sixty-eight years.  She is a loyal Michigander and University of Michigan and Michigan State University football fan. 

She learned artistic swimming at age thirteen in an inland lake, and then, as a freshman at Michigan State University.  “When I moved to Laguna Woods Village fifty-five years later, I saw Aqua Follies and thought, “I can still do that.”  And fourteen years later, she is still doing that.

Judy is a past vice president and a choreographer.  “I leave my personal issues behind, then once a practice is completed, my worries are minimized.  In other words, being an Aquadette is better than therapy.  Cheaper, too.”

Judy thanks her partner Mike, her daughter, four granddaughters, and three great grandchildren for their enthusiastic support.
